The Big Image Photography “Commitment of Dedication” My name is Oliver Collier and this phrase has come to define my view as a professional photographer and as a human being. I see my work as one that looks for and captures the beautiful moments that arise in every aspect of life. The celebration of the union of two people in marriage is full of this naturally occurring imagery. Each wedding is as unique as the individuals being joined. With this appreciation, I take each wedding as a personal assignment; giving of myself, my vision and over 10 years of experience photographing people worldwide to seek out and record the beautiful and meaningful moments as they occur. The end result of my approach to wedding photography is a very personal, artistic and creative collection of images of your wedding day without drawing unnecessary attention to myself. Along with the images of the candid moments of the event, portraits and family groupings are photographed quickly with a sense of spontaneity and joy in order to provide you and your families with a meaningful record of your time together. This non-obtrusive approach allows me to blend in and capture the magical moments of this day that is uniquely yours. I am always in wonder as I watch the arising of "beauty... as it occurs naturally". Portraiture is also passion at The Big Image. Capturing a person's essence or a family's togetherness in a single still image or creative montage is an artistic challenge that fuels our creative aspirations. I delight in providing traditional and contemporary portraiture services for individuals, families, children, babies, brides, and love story sessions for engaged couples. In addition we also supply special creative and intimate sessions for mothers and/or fathers with babies and maternity images. For those who prefer something other than traditional images, come experience one of our dynamic photo shoots that will make you a model for a day. Bring your wardrobe changes and any special personal memorabilia and be prepared for a fun, fast moving "photo shoot." I know that a photograph is more than just a record of how someone looked on a given day. I know that a photograph serves the much more important purpose of being a record of emotions surrounding a special day and a special time. I seek to capture images that preserve those feelings.
